Immediate communication is our top priority. We're trying to make our communication with parents and the community more efficient and friendly. There are many different types of information that we will share on our Facebook Page:
•Share What’s Happening
•Share Upcoming Events
•Make School Announcements
•Share learning resources and tips
•Share Photos or Videos (not of any students)
•Share School-Wide Achievement Data
•Get Feedback from the Community

Important Note:
Our target audience for this page is parents, grandparents, teachers, staff members, and the community, NOT our underage students.

Most social media tools are blocked in our school system because of the Acceptable User Policy for STUDENTS. Thus, we will not share any information about any student (including pictures, videos, first names, work samples, etc.) without first obtaining written consent from the child’s guardian. This Facebook page is maintained for the parents of our elementary school students to make, maintain, and improve connections. We still maintain this comprehensive and robust school website ( Additionally, teacher newsletters go home weekly, monthly PTA newsletters, and periodic ParentLink calls are other tools we use to communicate. There are plenty of other sources of information for families that choose not to “like” us on Facebook.
